Classes
For those wishing to engage in a fun process of exploring art and learning a new language with others! Each class will include conversation practice, lessons in vocabulary/grammar, and we will end with taking a look at a work of art. Currently offering 4-week sessions in three levels for adults. Students are welcome to attend all three classes and you only need to sign up for one class to attend all of them! Class size ranges from 10-15 students.
Beginner 1
This class is for students with zero to very little Spanish experience. We will start from the absolute beginning with the alphabet, definite and indefinite articles, subject pronouns, and more. With an emphasis on learning the basics of grammar/pronunciation, this shorter class will not include an art component, but you are welcome to stay for the beginner 2 and intermediate classes which do include art. Topics will rotate monthly. Meets for 4-week sessions and can be repeated.
Beginner 2
This class is for students who have completed beginner 1 or have some prior Spanish knowledge who are looking to continue learning beginner-level grammar and vocabulary. Topics will rotate monthly and may include adjectives, adverbs, regular and irregular verbs in present tense, interrogative words, and more! Meets for 4-week sessions and can be repeated.
Intermediate
Students in this class feel comfortable with basic vocabulary and grammar including present tense verbs, and are ready to move on to more advanced topics. Topics will rotate monthly and may include preterit, imperfect, present subjunctive and future tenses, direct and indirect objects, and more! Meets for 4-week sessions and can be repeated.
